Island House Apartment
Motel
Guest Reviews
The Island House is our Get Away
Paradise. It has it all: Friends, Fabulous water with Sunsets, Convenience
to stores and just plain Peace and Quiet. We love BBQ-ing out back or just
walking to the local restaurants. The rooms have everything you need and
the most wonderful views . We never leave without reserving our room for
the next trip!! We try to keep it a secret so that rooms will be available
for us, but it is hard to not tell our friends and family about it!!

We recently made our second trip to the
IH, only this time we took the entire family. From the kids to their 88yo
great-grandmother, everyone loved it. With all the places to choose from
in Florida, why do we choose the IH? Well... not just because of the
beautiful, relaxing, quaint, tranquil setting. Not just because of the
gorgeous beach and crystal blue water. Not just because the rooms are
cozy, homey and immaculate. But because it is our "little piece of heaven"
and the management could not be more welcoming and accommodating. The ONLY
problem with the IH is having to leave!

Close friends of ours have gone to the Island House twice a year, every
year, for many years. When nearing retirement in 2006, we decided to try
it for a couple of weeks in the winter. Now we are beginning our 6th year.
We go every year for two months and we consider it a home away from home.
Some of the other residents, the Managers and the Owners, are among our
best friends. We LOVE it!

Island House is a nostalgic vacation spot reminiscent of the
1950's style of architecture. For 10 years now we have loved our
stays, enjoying the owners, management, friendly guests, spic and
span rooms, and a beautiful beach with its shells and sharks
teeth. The planned dinners, the impromptu gatherings watching the
sunset (hoping to see the elusive "Green Flash") are just a few
of the things that make Island House special to us. No high
buildings are built on Casey Key unlike other islands. One can
borrow a book from their "library", sunbathe, sleep on their
lounge chairs, or talk to the fine people that stay at the Island House. Whatever you desire…solitude or companionship. We have made so
many wonderful friends from all over the US and Europe. It is an
unique adventure. Thanks so much

Pat and I have visited the Island House for over 30 Years, and have
made many friends while staying at our vacation hideaway. The photos
show you the magnificent views from this wonderful and unique part
of the Gulf Coast. The Island House is our idea of peace and
tranquility and the perfect holiday.
